J. Periodically Replaced Parts
The imagePROGRAF iPF8400S printer does not have any periodically
replaced parts.
K. Maintenance Kit
Canon USA has prepared an imagePROGRAF iPF8400S Maintenance Kit
to enhance the durability of the printer, while at the same time keeping
operating costs at a minimum. Reduced printer downtime will also be
achieved when the Maintenance Kit is installed at the interval listed in the
table below. The printers’ built-in counters and warning messages inform
users when the maintenance kits need to be installed.

L. End-User Periodic Maintenance
In accordance with the user’s manual, the end-user is expected to
maintain the following areas of the printer:
• Printhead cleaning (using the operation panel)
• Replacement of Printheads, ink tanks, and filters
• Cleaning of ink mist and other substances around external covers and
output basket area (dry the surfaces after wiping with a damp cloth)
