Optional Accessories
Use of genuine Canon accessories is recommended.
This product is designed to perform optimally when used with genuine Canon
accessories. Canon shall not be liable for any damage to this product and/or
accidents such as fire, etc., caused by the malfunction of non-genuine Canon
accessories (e.g., a leakage and/or explosion of a battery pack). Please note that this
warranty does not apply to repairs arising out of the malfunction of non-genuine
Canon accessories, although you may request such repairs on a chargeable basis.
BP-400 Series Battery Packs
When you need extra battery packs, select from
the following: BP-407, BP-406, BP-412 or
BP-422.
CA-400 Compact Power Adapter/
CA-410 Compact Power Adapter/
CB-400 Car Battery Adapter
BP-400 series battery packs can be charged
from a household power source with the
CA-410 or CA-400 Compact Power Adapter. With the CB-400 Car Battery Adapter, they
can be charged on the move. It plugs into your car's cigarette lighter and runs off a
12-24 V DC negative ground battery.
* Charging time varies according to the charging condition.
TL-H30.5 Tele-converter
This Tele-converter lens increases the focal
length of the camcorder lens by a factor of 1.9.
• The image stabilizer is not as effective when
the Tele-converter is attached.
• The image quality may be degraded at the telephoto side.
• The minimum focusing distance with the Tele-converter is 3 m; 3 cm at maximum
wide angle.
• When using the assist lamp with the Teleconverter attached, the shadow of the Tele-
converter may appear on the picture.
