Canton’s new developed wave surround is used with the Reference
midrange and woofer systems. This unique, multi-curved wave
shape doubles the excursion capabilities and reduces resonance of
our midrange and woofers for better frequency response and higher
output levels – with lower distortion.
The triple-curved aluminum cone (TCC technology) has an opti-
mized shape. It stabilizes the cone at the transition point to the
voice coil. This minimizes material resonance and distortion.
The perfect isolation of the cabinet from its base and the down-
firing design of the bass reflex port make the loudspeaker very
versatile when it comes to room placement.
In addition to cutting edge technology, the Reference features a
modern design, with the finest materials and first-class craftsmanship
of the enclosure documenting Canton’s perfectionist credentials.
