1. Confirm that the grass outlet cover is closed.
2. Stop the machine and move the accelerator lever to a position
between "High speed" and "Low speed".
3. Move blade height adjusting lever to the position ''5''.

OPERATION
6.9 HOW TO OPERATE BLADE
Never put legs beneath cutter blade covers.
The cutter blade rotates close to each cover
during operation.
• When using machine for the first time, select
flat ground and operate slowly so that each
cutting paths overlaps.
•
When cutting around obstacles, always position
trees, posts, and other obstacles on the left
side of the machine. (Make leftward turning.)
• Before carrying out work, be sure to read
"SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN OPERAT-
ING" in Chapter 3 "RULES FOR SAFE
