D07 AWNING DOES NOT MOVE WHEN KEY FOB BUTTONS ARE PUSHED
Before continuing, ensure that the system is working correctly at the switch panel. If not, go to DO1" The Awning
Does Not Extend and/or Retract Using the Extend/Retract Switch".
NOTE: For series I switches, the Mode switch must be in the POWER ON or AUTO-RETRACT ON positions for the
key FOB to work. For series III switches, the On/Off switch must be ON.
YES
Battery OK - Key FOB does not work
– go to test B

Remove battery from Key FOB and test. Should measure
between 2V-3V.
NO
Replace battery

Confirm that the Receiver is programmed for the Key FOB
(refer to page 28)
If system does not work; go to step C
YES
2nd Key FOB works. 1st Key FOB is
defective.

Program a second Key FOB (refer to page 28) and test
NO
2nd Key FOB does not work; go to
step D
YES
Cable is OK. Confirm that cable is
securely plugged in; go to step 4

Check the cable between the RR24 and Direct Response
control box. As a continuity check, Pin 1 of connector 1 goes
to Pin 1 of connector 2; pin 2 goes to pin 2; pin 3 goes to pin 3
and pin 4 goes to pin 4
NO
Repair or Replace as required.
YES
System works OK. 1st receiver is
defective
D
Replace the RR24 Receiver and test
NO
System does not work. Reinstall 1st
receiver; go to step E

Replace Auto-Retract control box
