6. SCHEDE OPZIONALI
6.1 Chiave di programmazione PCO100KEY0
La chiave di programmazione, che rappresenta una delle novità più
interessanti del pCO
1
, può effettuare il trasferimento (caricamento e
scaricamento) del programma applicativo.
• Le chiavi per pCO
1
e pCO
C
vengono realizzate con
flash da 2MB e vengono fornite da Carel con BOOT
e BIOS che gestiscono solo 1MB. In questo modo
le stesse chiavi possono essere utilizzate con
pCO
1
che montano sia flash da 1MB come da 2MB.
Qualora si volessero fruttare appieno i 2MB per
caricare applicativi più grandi o più lingue dello
stesso applicativo, bisogna utilizzare WinLoad32
versione 3.xx e caricare BOOT versione 3.xx, BIOS
versione 3.xx e ricaricare l’applicativo (vedi ‘Copia
da WinLoad32 a chiave, utilizzando il pCO1’).
Oppure eseguire la copia da pCO

a KEY usando
un pCO
1
con flash da 2MB dove siano già caricati
BOOT versione 3.xx, BIOS 3.xx e applicativo.

6.2 Espansione di memoria PCO100CEF0
Se la memoria FLASH per il programma applicativo o gli storici non è
sufficiente, il pCO

permette di espandere la sua capacità con
l’inserimento di un scheda di espansione.
L’opzione include anche la scheda orologio e 32KB di memoria
E

PROM.
Togliere l’eventuale scheda PCO100CLK0 se si vuole usare la
PCO100CEF0.
Per le caratteristiche tecniche e le fasi di inserimento della scheda di
espansione, seguire attentamente le istruzioni
riportate sul foglio istruzioni allegato alla
confezione della scheda stessa.

6. OPTIONAL CARDS
6.1 Programming key, PCO100KEY
The programming key, one of the more interesting new features of the
pCO
1
, can be used to transfer (upload and download) the application
software.
•The keys for the pCO
1
and pCO
C
have 2MB flash
memory and are supplied by Carel with BOOT and
BIOS that manage 1MB. In this way, the same keys
can be used with pCO
1
controllers that have either
1MB or 2MB flash memory chips.
To fully exploit the 2MB to copy larger applications
or a series of languages for the same application,
use WinLoad32 version 3.xx and load BOOT version
3.xx, BIOS version 3.xx and then restart the
application (see ‘Copy from WinLoad32 to key using
the pCO
1
’). Alternatively, copy from the pCO
1
to the
KEY using a pCO
1
with 2MB flash, with Boot version
3.xx, Bios 3.xx and the application already loaded.
•WARNING: keys or pCO
1
controllers loaded with
BOOT version 3.xx MUST also have BIOS version
3.xx and MUST ONLY communicate with
WinLoad32 version 3.xx.
• WARNING: if copying from the KEY to the pCO
1
,
with a KEY having BOOT version 3.xx and BIOS
version 3.xx, and the pCO

has 1MB flash memory,
then, once the copy operation has been completed,
the application MUST BE downloaded to the pCO
1
using WinLoad32
version 3.xx.

6.2 Memory expansion, PCO100CEF0
If the flash memory is not sufficient for the application software or data
logs, the pCO
1
allows the memory to be expanded with the addition of
an expansion card.
The option includes the clock board too and 32KB memory E2PROM.
Remove the possible PCO100CLK0 board if you want to use the
PCO100CEF0.
For details on the technical specifications and the installation of the
expansion card, carefully follow the instructions shown on the
instruction sheet enclosed in the packaging of
the card.
