APPENDIX J — FACTORY-SUPPLIED PUMPS
Sensorless pump speed control is standard on factory supplied
pumps. This control monitors power and speed of the pump to
determine where the pump is on the system curve. The system
curve is defined by site specific user settings entered at startup
of the unit. Pump motors are ECM design and are in a parallel
arrangement. All of the pump motors may operate at once de-
pending on the most efficient point for the pump system. See
Fig. K for login details, Fig. L for system information, Fig. M for
unit and language settings, Fig. N for hand, off, and auto modes,
and Fig. O-Q for data input.
Pump Display
The pump motors have a touchscreen display where system pa-
rameters must be adjusted for the site. This consists of setting
the design flowrate, total static pressure, and zero head pres-
sure. The total static pressure includes the building and chiller
pressure drop. Below is the layout of the touchscreen display.
