Evacuation in case of fire Risks from exhaust gases
If a fire breaks out, evacuate the
machine as follows:
- If there is sufficient time, shut off
the engine by turning the ignition
key to OFF position.
- If there is sufficient time, use the
fire extinguisher.
- Leave the machine.
Prevent the risk of suffocation. En-
gine exhaust gases may cause
nausea or even death.
- If you have to work in a building,
make sure there is adequate venti-
lation.
Use an exhaust pipe extension to
remove the exhaust gases, or open
doors and windows to let in suffi-
cient fresh air.
