MANAGING YOUR FILES
You can protect an important file to ensure that it cannot be
deleted accidentally.
IMPORTANT!
• Note that even if a file is protected, it will be deleted if you
perform the format operation (pages 15, 50, 199).
■ Protecting a Specific File
1. In the PLAY mode, press [MENU].
2. On the “PLAY” tab, select “Protect” and then
press [X].
3. Use [W] and [X] to scroll through images until
the one you want to protect is on the monitor
screen.
4. Use [S] and [T] to
select “On” and then
press [SET].
An image that is protected is
indicated by the “ ” icon.
5. Now you can repeat
steps 3 and 4 to protect another image or exit
this procedure by pressing [MENU].
To unprotect a specific file
Perform the procedure under “Protecting a Specific File”, but in
step 4 select “Off” instead of “On”.
