Operation
Turn the power on.
Feed the paper roll using [FEED]
button.
Press [V][E][R] [ENTER] on PC
keyboard.
Press[M][E][M] [ENTER] on PC
keyboard.
Insert diagnostic program FDD in
the slot.
Input [A] [:][ENTER] from SA-
5000/5100 keyboard.
(To enter [:], press [;] while
pressing down [SHIFT] button.)

To be checked
Make sure that BIOS version indi-
cation on <screen 1> is 1.3.
• SA-5000/5100 display and the
CRT change to <screen 2>.
• LCD back light turns on.
• Make sure that the LCD contrast
is proper.
• Fan in the power supply unit
turns.
Confirm that the spooler rolls up
the paper while pressing FEED
button.
Display indicates;
MS-DOS Version 6.22
Make sure that the total memory
is 4,096K.
Display indicates LANDMARK
screen.
• CPU clock frequency should be
within the range of 560 to 580
MHz.
• FPU clock frequency should be
within the range of 910 to 930
MHz.
When a button is pressed, corre-
sponding button name on the
screen is high lighted.
Press all the buttons to test them.
Display indicates;
Exit Program? (Y/N) : N
All the segments of the customer
display light.
