  If your Ceia Metal Detector isn't alarming despite metal objects passing through, even at the highest sensitivity, it could be due to a few reasons. First, check the power supply voltage using the Autotest procedure (only 02PN8 HI-PE). Also, inspect the transducer-electronics unit connections. Lastly, ensure the programming is correct and that the buzzer isn't off by setting AV>0. If the programming procedure isn't working, consider replacing the electronics unit.

  If the display is off on your Ceia 02PN8 HI-PE Metal Detector, and the detector is off, it could be a PW = OFF fault in the supply section. To resolve this, set PW = ON (only 02PN8 HI-PE) and check all the power connections, including the mains cable, the electronics unit to TX antenna connecting cable, and connector J2 on the electronics unit.
