4. Battery Charging Precautions
146BIMPORTANT: To reduce the risk of serious injury, read these
precautions and the label on the charger carefully before using.
Lithium batteries store a large amount of energy and will vent fire or
explode if mistreated.

147BDo not probe charger with conductive objects.
148BDo not use the charger if it has been dropped or damaged in any
way.
149BCharge the battery in temperatures above 41°F (5°C ) and below
113°F (45°C ).
150BWhen in use, keep the charger out of heat, high voltage and away
from children.
151BUse only the supplied charger. Do not charge the battery over 24
hours.
152BDo not allow anything to cover the charger while in use.
153BUnplug the charger from its outlet before attempting any
maintenance or cleaning.
154BDo not store the charger in damp, wet or explosive environments.
155BDo not open the charger housing. Have repairs performed only at
authorized locations.
156BDo not charge the battery near fire or in the sunlight.
Proper care will prevent serious damage to the charger.
