Do you have a question about the Chamberlain 81600 and is the answer not in the manual?
This document describes the LiftMaster Wi-Fi® Garage Door Opener, available in Chain Drive Models (81600, 81602, 81640, 81650, 83650-267) and a Belt Drive Model (81550), designed for residential use.
The LiftMaster Wi-Fi® Garage Door Opener allows users to monitor and control their garage door from anywhere using the myQ® App on a Wi-Fi® enabled smartphone, tablet, or laptop. It connects to a broadband internet connection and requires a 2.4 GHz, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi® signal in the garage. The opener is compatible with myQ® and Security+ 2.0® accessories. It features an Alert2Close function, providing visual and audible alerts when an unattended door is closing, and a Timer-to-Close (TTC) feature that automatically closes the door after a specified time period. The TTC feature, myQ® App, and other myQ® devices providing unattended close are to be used ONLY with sectional doors, not one-piece or swinging garage doors. The system includes The Protector System® (safety reversing sensors) which use an infrared light beam to prevent the door from closing on obstructions. If the beam is broken while closing, the door will stop and reverse to the full open position. If the door is fully open and sensors are not installed or misaligned, the door will not close from a remote control, but can be closed by holding the button on the door control or keyless entry until fully closed. The opener lights turn on when activated or power is restored and turn off automatically after 4-1/2 minutes. A battery backup system (Model 81602 only) provides access during power outages, operating the door slower and without lights, with an orange LED and beeping every 2 seconds (or every 30 seconds if the battery is low).
