  If you experience a sudden drop in gas flow or notice a low flame on your Char-Broil Grill, here are a few things to check: * **Out of gas:** Ensure your LP cylinder isn't empty. * **Excess flow valve tripped:** Turn off the control knobs, wait 30 seconds, and then try lighting the grill again. If the flames remain low, turn off the knobs and the LP cylinder valve. Disconnect the regulator, reconnect it, and perform a leak test. Turn the LP cylinder valve back on, wait 30 seconds, and then attempt to light the grill. * **Vapor lock:** Turn off the knobs and the LP cylinder valve. Disconnect the coupling nut from the cylinder, then reconnect it and try again.

  If no sparks appear at any electrodes when the Electronic Ignition Button is pressed and no noise can be heard from spark module of your Char-Broil Grill, make sure that: * The battery is installed properly (ensure that “+” and “–” connectors are oriented correctly, with “+” end up and “–” end down.) * The battery is not dead (replace battery with new AA-size alkaline battery). * The button assembly is installed properly (unscrew button cap assembly and reinstall, making sure threads are aligned and engaged fully). If all of these are correct, consider that you may have a faulty spark module, and you should replace spark module assembly.
