6.4. BATTERY TEST
Full charge: 3 h
Full discharge:
On Electro-therapy:
• Run an IFC 4P treatment with following parameters
during 1h min
• Intensity CH1: 100 mA
• Intensity CH2: 100 mA
• Carrier frequency: 4kHz
• Load: 1kΩ
On Ultrasound therapy:
• Run an Ultrasound treatment with following
parameters:
• 5 cm² Us applicator during 1h30 min (3 x 30 min)
• G 16 Test Load Box during 1h min
• Continuous mode
• Output: 1.5 w/cm² and 3 MHz
Verify if the device is still battery powered after this
time of continuous treatment
6.5. FAILURE DURING TREATMENT
Problem during a Stim treatment
Connect the stim cable to a load of 1kΩ and increase the
intensity to 15 mA
If it’s not good: replace the cable by a new one.
If the cable is ok
Check the position of electrodes on the body
Try with new electrodes
Try with another cable on another channel
Problem during a US treatment
Check if the right size was used for the right part of
body
Check if the US gel was put in the right quantity
Verify the control contact in a glass of water (only if the
applicator is not cracked)
Try with another applicator or/and on another channel
6.6. ERROR CODE
1.
All system messages, warning messages and fault messages that are generated by the device are self-
explanatory excepting
system error.
2. If Warning message occurs:
•
When the device starts: disconnect all the accessories and try to restart
•
When you start or during a treatment:
• Try to restart
• Try on the other channel
• Try with another accessory (other cable for stim or other applicator for ultrasound)
•
Contact DJO selling dealer or DJO Service Department.
3. If System error occurs:
•
Take a picture of the screen or Note error code
•
Note Serial number (start screen or read label bottom of the device)
•
Note software version (start screen or in the settings menu part device info)
•
Contact DJO selling dealer or DJO Service Department
