Air bag trouble warning light
When ignition switch is turned to the “II” position, the indicator light on dashboard will light and then go out after about 3~4 seconds, which
indicates that no failure exists in air bag system.
If the indicator light does not light or it keeps intermittently or continuously lighting during driving, this indicates a failure. For your safety,
please send your vehicle to a Chery Authorized Service Station for inspection.
The manufacturer of the air bag on this vehicle suggests that you should replace the air bag with a new one after ten year’s use, because then
efficiency of aerating agent and performance of the air bag have been deteriorated.
If you do not know service life of the air bag on your vehicle well, Chery Authorized Service Stations are ready to inquire about relevant
information for you.
Steering wheel,
steering column and air bag
system can only be repaired by
