Engine Coolant
Reservoir
A1 is equipped with a main water tank and
a auxiliary water tank. When adding
coolant, observe the following method.
Filling method at filler cap: when engine
is under cold state and still, turn the filler
cap clockwise and force down to open it to
fill. Add until coolant can be seen from the
filler port and then stop filling. Screw the
filler cap down, start engine and leave it
run at idle speed for about 1 minute, and
then shut the engine off. Open the filler
cap to continue to add coolant until
coolant can be seen from the filler hole.
When engine water temperature is high or
at each maintenance, remember to duly
add coolant from the coolant filler cap.
The method for filling coolant into
auxiliary water tank: when engine is under
cold state and still, draw filler cap on
auxiliary water tank upward to open it; the
filling volume of coolant must exceed the
minimum scale MIN and be below MAN
line.
Frequently observe coolant volume in
auxiliary water tank; when coolant level is
below the scale MIN, duly add.
Do not mix the coolant of
different colors and specifications.
