Function Description:
The Chore Warrior is a power-driven wheelbarrow that provides forward and reverse power assist to help move loads. It operates similarly to a standard manual wheelbarrow but with the added benefit of motor assistance. The device is controlled via a thumb throttle located on the right handle, which allows for variable speed and power control. The further the throttle is pressed, the more speed and power the Chore Warrior will develop. It is recommended to start at slower speeds until comfortable with its operation.
For manual operation, with the power switch in the OFF (0) position, the user grasps the handles with both hands, lifts the Chore Warrior until the support legs are off the ground, and transfers the load's weight to the drive wheels. In this position, the user can manually push forward, backward, and practice turning. To dump the Chore Warrior, both handles are lifted in an upward forward motion, pivoting on the drive wheels and onto the dump support brace until the tub is in a vertical position.
In power assist mode, the power switch on the electronics box is turned ON. Battery indicator lights on the control module (right handle) should illuminate, indicating readiness for operation. A forward/reverse button on the left (thumb) side of the right handle control module changes the direction. Reverse speed is designed for a low walking speed for safety. Forward motion includes a built-in additional power boost when the throttle is pushed down fully, allowing for a very fast walk speed, particularly useful for climbing hills with a loaded tray.

Charging must be done by adults only in an open, dry, well-ventilated area using the supplied charger. The indicator light on the charger turns from red to green when fully charged.
- Safety Instructions: Emphasizes never allowing people, children, or pets to ride in the Chore Warrior. Prohibits modifying the electrical system, immersing the drive system or electrical components in water, and using non-approved charging equipment. Stresses using only AGM sealed batteries. Warns against operating in an overloaded or overweight condition (max 350 lbs), or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Advises keeping both hands firmly on the handles for control and operating at speeds no faster than a walk (3 mph).
- Tray Brace Settings: The tray brace can be set at two heights: a tallest setting for plastic trays and a shortest setting for non-standard (customer-supplied) trays.
- Oil Addition: Motor oil is added through a plug bolt, with the motor requiring 7-8 ounces.
- Stopping: To stop, fully release the thumb throttle. For forced stopping, release the throttle and slowly lower the Chore Warrior onto its support legs. Downward force can be applied to handles for additional braking, but caution is advised to prevent damage or instability.
- Troubleshooting: A dedicated section addresses common issues such as the Chore Warrior not running, stopping suddenly, short run time, sluggishness, battery lights not illuminating, and flat tires. - Wiring Connections: Periodically check all wire connections to ensure they are secure.
- Storage: Store the Chore Warrior inside or under a protective cover during snowy or rainy weather as it is water resistant, not waterproof.
