CIAS Elettronica S.r.l. Ed. 1.5
Installation Handbook Page 53 of 57 MANTA 50 – 80
To
read
the current upper pre-alarm threshold value proceed as follows:
Rotate decimal switch
SW2
(tens column) until the second red led (
D9
) comes ON
Rotate decimal switch
SW3
(units column) until the first red led (
D8
) comes ON
The values read will be between 01 and 80 (
default value 15
), and it is the same as set at
point k.
Increasing the upper pre-alarm threshold value decreases the side sensitivity as in the side
beam dimensions.
To
modify
the current value and decrease the side sensitivity it is necessary to select, using
the two switches SW3 and SW2, a higher value and then push the button S3
.
o. Select
position 7
on the “function switch
SW1
. The
upper
alarm threshold
adjustment
phase is activated. As described in previous point “n”, to activate the Fuzzy Side Target
Discrimination (FSTD) system, it is also necessary to increase the upper alarm threshold
(generally by the same amount as in previous point n)
To
read
the current upper alarm threshold value proceed as follows:
Rotate decimal switch
SW2
(tens column) until the second red led (
D9
) comes ON
Rotate decimal switch
SW3
(units column) until the first red led (
D8
) comes ON
The values read will be between 01 and 80 (
default value 30
), and it is the same as set at
point k.
Increasing the higher alarm threshold value decreases the side sensitivity as in the side beam
dimensions.
To
modify
the current value and decrease the side sensitivity it is necessary to select, using
the two switches SW3 and SW2, a higher value and then push the button S3.
p. Select
position 8
on the “function switch”
SW1
. The
barrier
number
selection phase is
activated. To communicate by the standard RS 485 serial interface provided on receiver of
the MANTA barrier, it is possible to select a different barrier number for each receiver installed
in the specific site. This allows different barriers to communicate using the same bus.
To
read
the present barrier number proceed as follows:
Rotate decimal switch
SW2
(tens column) until the second red led (
D9
) comes ON
Rotate decimal switch
SW3
(units column) until the first red led (
D8
) comes ON
The values read will be between 01 and 99. Value 00 means barrier 100 and this is the
default value, used when a fatal error occurs and the default parameters are automatically
used.
To
modify
the current barrier number it is necessary to select, using the two switches
SW3 and SW2 a new value and then push the button S3.
q. Select
position 9
on the “function switch”
SW1
. The
monitor threshold
adjustment phase is
activated. The two monitor thresholds are set above and below the quiescent field value. The
storage of the signal received begins when the field value, exceeds one of them.
To
read
the current monitor threshold value proceed as follows:
Rotate decimal switch
SW2
(tens column) until the second red led (
D9
) comes ON
Rotate decimal switch
SW3
(units column) until the first red led (
D8
) comes ON
The values read will be between 01 and 80 (
default value 15
). Decreasing the threshold
value means that the recording starts when weaker signals are received.
To
modify
the current value and increase the sensitivity (weaker signal) it is necessary to
select, using the two switches SW3 and SW2 a lower value and then push the button S3. To
decrease the sensitivity (stronger signal), it is necessary to select, using the two switches SW3
and SW2, a higher value and then push the button S3.
r. Select
position 0
on the “function switch”
SW1
and then push the button
S3
. This operation
stores the parameters selected in the previous steps.
