3.2.1 Sioux-CU-Pro2 programming and function descriptions
Install Sioux-Test-Pro software as described in the relevant manual, connect your PC to the
Sioux-CU-Pro2 and proceed with its configuration.
Default IP address: 192.168.0.189
Port: 1024
The following sections describe the manual configuration, alternative operation to what
can already be configured through the software.
It is possible to choose between several functions, that can be selected via the hexadecimal
switch; press the SET BUTTON to start the function.
- 0: normal polling of sensors on two serial lines LINE1 and LINE2
- 1: automatic assignment of the device numbers of the Sioux-Master-Pro2 boards
- 2: addressing of Sioux-CU-Pro2 number
- 3: manual assignment of the Sioux-Master-Pro2 device numbers present on the left branch
- 4: manual assignment of the Sioux-Master-Pro2 device numbers present on the right branch
- 5: zone configuration with “touch and zone” procedure
- 6: change of the left branch sensor number
- 7: change of the right branch sensor number
- 8: enable/disable storage of Cut Prealarm Events
- 9: reset of Sioux-CU-Pro2 to default parameters with power on
- A: enable/disable encrypted communication with IB-SystemIP
- B: enable/disable the redundancy (left/right branch)
- F: reset of Sioux-CU-Pro2 to default parameters with power off
Reset with Sioux-CU-Pro2 powered (function 9)
➢ The function returns to default
IP address: 192.168.0.189
Port: 1024
Branches and zone configuration: Factory default (140+140 sensors, 80 zones)
➢ Rotate FUNCTION to 9
➢ Open the Sioux-CU-Pro2 tamper (TAMP+GND)
➢ Rotate TENS to 1 and UNIT to 1
➢ Push the SET BUTTON and within 30 seconds:
➢ Rotate TENS to 2 and UNIT to 2
➢ Push the SET BUTTON and wait for beep confirmation
➢ Rotate FUNCTION, TENS, UNIT to 0, close the tamper
➢ End of procedure
Reset without Sioux-CU-Pro2 powered (function F)
➢ The function returns to default
IP address: 192.168.0.189
Port: 1024
Branches and zone configuration: Factory default (140+140 sensors, 80 zones)
➢ Open the Sioux-CU-Pro2 tamper (TAMP+GND)
➢ Rotate FUNCTION to F
➢ Rotate TENS to 9 and UNIT to 9
➢ Keep pressed SET BUTTON then supply the Sioux-CU-Pro2 and wait 15 seconds
➢ Release SET BUTTON
➢ Rotate FUNCTION, TENS, UNIT to 0, close the tamper
➢ End of procedure
