3.2.1.1 Automatic assignment of the device numbers
Rotate FUNCTION to position 1 and push the SET BUTTON.
During this procedure device numbers of the various Sioux-Master-Pro2 devices connected to
the two serial lines LINE1 and LINE2, will be automatically assigned.
Starting from the closest Sioux-Master-Pro2 device on both lines, it will be assigned device
numbers 4, 11, 18, 25, 32, 39, 46, 53, 60, 67, 74, 81, 88, 95, 102, 109, 116, 123, 130, 137.
Once the device number assignment is finished, the position of the Sioux-CU-Pro2 will be read
and stored (Reference Position).
Any subsequent change in this Sioux-CU-Pro2 position, will generate a tamper.
The buzzer emits 3 short beeps duration, if the procedure is completed correctly.
Otherwise it will emit a sound of 2 seconds duration.
This means that at least one of the Master-Pro2 boards, present in the configuration, has not
been assigned a device number.
At the end of the procedure return the Sioux-CU-Pro2 to normal operation (function 0).
3.2.1.2 Addressing of the Sioux-CU-Pro2 number
Rotate the FUNCTION to position 2.
Position the decimal switches (tens and unit), so that they create the number to be assigned to
the Sioux-CU-Pro2. Push the SET BUTTON to acquire the value.
3.2.1.3 Manual assignment of the device numbers
To manually assign the device number for a Master-Pro2 board it is necessary to position the
function switch on 3 if the Master-Pro2 board is found on the left branch or on 4 if it is found on
the right branch.
Set tens and unit switches referring to the following table:

Push SET BUTTON and hit the Master-Pro2 board to assign the value. When the assignment is
completed successfully, a short sound is emitted from the Sioux-CU-Pro2 buzzer. At this point
the Master-Pro2 board device number is set.
Setting the value 00 on the tens and unit switches and pushing the SET BUTTON, will cause the
Sioux-CU-Pro2 to delete the device numbers of all the Sioux-Master-Pro2 boards on the selected
branch.
Note: It is not possible to assign the device number to a sensor, if the previously set number has
not been deleted.
