  Porosity in your weld could stem from several issues. First, ensure your shielding gas cylinder isn't empty and that the flow meter is correctly set to 15 liters per minute, providing adequate gas coverage around the welding arc. Also, any dirt on the workpiece surface can cause porosity, so make sure to clean contaminates off the work piece. If you're welding in a windy environment, shield the weld area or increase the gas flow to compensate. Keep the distance between the MIG Torch nozzle and the work piece to a minimum. Finally, check the MIG Torch itself, ensuring the gas holes aren't blocked by spatter buildup and that the O-rings are not damaged.

  Inconsistent wire feed can be caused by several factors. Check the wire spool brake to ensure it's not too tight or too loose. Verify you're using the correct feed roller size for your wire and replace it if worn. Misalignment of inlet/outlet guides can also cause issues, as the wire rubs against them, reducing feed ability. Blockage from swarf in the liner can be a problem, often caused by excessive pressure on the pressure roller adjuster or using an incorrect feed roller groove shape or size. Ensure the contact tip isn't worn or incorrect, as this can lead to arcing and wire jamming. Also, a poor electrical contact to the work piece can reduce power at the arc. Finally, a bent liner can cause friction, hindering wire feed ability.
