Rack Mount the Chassis
The chassis can be mounted on a 4-post or a 2-post rack.

Rack-Mount the Chassis in a 2-Post Rack, on page 17- Contains procedures for mounting the chassis in
a 2-post rack.
When the Cisco 8200 Series Routers use port side exhaust fans and power supplies, the maximum temperature
is reduced by 5 degrees C (for example, 35 degrees C at sea level or 30 degrees C at 1500 meters).

Rack-Mount the Chassis in a 4-Post Rack
This section describes how to install the router in a 4-post rack.
If the rack is on wheels, ensure that the brakes are engaged or that the rack is otherwise stabilized.
