Caveats in Cisco IOS XE 3.9S Releases
Conditions: Punt/inject keepalives are missed and we are not holding a TTY while writing to
punt/inject log file.
Workaround: none

Symptoms: Complete MAC Address space is not available on the RSP
Conditions: Removing the Service instance with the MAC Addresses learnt on the BD.
Workaround: Reload the Router is only workaround.

Symptoms: Shut down the trunk efp in core side, meps are learnt for UP MEP
Conditions: Configured UP Mep evc bd (core side trunk efp) when i shut the trunk efp in core
remote meps are learnt for UP MEP.
Workaround: Configure evc bd in core side

Symptoms: Standby will be resetting continuously with running config sync failure.
Conditions:
Downgrade all IMs and take the IMS out of slot.After booting up with XE39 image , insert IMs one
by one. While upgrade was happening , this issue happened.Im got crashed and stanby was resetting
continuously with SYNc failed.
Workaround: Reload the box completely.

Symptoms: On interoperating with an ASR901 router, BFD sessions may flap as the ASR903 router
may some times not send BFD control messages.
Conditions: With around 200 global IPv4 prefixes, BFD session running in software with echo OFF
and seen even without any data traffic.
Workaround: There is no work-around known as yet.
