DETAILED STEPS
Step 1
Position the cable guide-left and cable guide-right against the front of the chassis and align the four screw holes, as shown
in figure below.

Step 2
Secure the cable guides with the four M4x6mm screws supplied with the cable guide kit. The recommended maximum
torque is 10 in-lb (1.12 N-m)
Connecting the Chassis Ground and Power
Before you connect power or turn on power to the Cisco ASR-920-10SZ-PD Router, you must provide an
adequate chassis ground (earth) connection to your router.
Grounding the Router
The Cisco ASR-920-10SZ-PD Router provides a grounding point on either side of the unit for a two-hole lug.
Before making connections to the Cisco ASR-920-10SZ-PD Router, ensure that you disconnect the power
at the circuit breaker. Otherwise it may result in severe injury to yourself, or damage to the router.
