clocked at the lowest common denominator of CPU clock and DIMM clock. For example:
Selecting lower-speed DIMMs
: if you use an X5570 CPU (which can support up to 1333-MHz DIMMs) with 1066-MHz
DIMMs, the DIMMs will be clocked at the lower speed of 1066 MHz.
Selecting higher-speed DIMMs:
If you use 1333-MHz DIMMs with an E5506 CPU (which can support up to 800-MHz
DIMMs), the DIMMS will be clocked at the lower speed of 800 MHz.
