CONFIGURING the SERVER
Approved Configurations
(1) Single-CPU configurations:
■ Choose any one CPU listed in Table 3 on page 10 or Table 4 on page 11.
(2) Two-CPU Configurations:
■ Choose two identical CPUs from any one of the rows of Table 3 on page 10 or Table 4 on
page 11.
Caveats
■ You can select either one processor or two identical processors.
■ For optimal performance, select DIMMs with the highest clock speed for a given processor
(see
Table 5 on page 14). If you select DIMMs whose speeds are lower or higher than that
shown in the tables, suboptimal performance will result.
