Enables routing protocols as required for your global
configuration. This example uses IP routing.

Enters interface configuration mode. If the prompt changes
to Router(config-if)#, it implies that you have entered the
interface configuration mode.

Assigns an IP address and subnet mask to the interface.Router(config-if)# ip address 172.16.74.3 255.255.255.0
Step 5
Exits back to global configuration mode.Router(config-if)# exit

Repeat Step 4 through Step 6 if your Cisco VG400 has more
than one interface that you need to configure.
Returns to enable mode when you finish configuring
interfaces.
