with the vehicle stationary.
In the exceptional case of use of the
parkingbrakewhenthevehicleis
moving,applythebrakebypulling
gentlytoavoidlockingtherearwheels
(riskofskidding).
Press this button, the direction
indicatorsash.
Theycanoperatewiththeignitionoff.
Thehazardwarninglampsshouldonly
be used in dangerous situations, when
stoppinginanemergencyorwhen
drivinginunusualconditions.
Whenparkingonaslope,directyour
wheelstowardsthepavementandpull
theparkingbrakeleverup.
There is no advantage in engaging
agearafterparkingthevehicle,
particularlyifthevehicleisloaded.
Iftheparkingbrakeisstillonorhas
not been released properly, this is
indicatedbythiswarninglampwhich
comesonintheinstrumentpanel.

Whenbrakinginanemergency,
depending on the force of deceleration,
thehazardwarninglampscome
onautomatically.Theyswitchoff
automaticallythersttimeyou
accelerate.
Itisalsopossibletoswitchthemoffby
pressingtheswitchonthedashboard.
Releasing
Pull the lever up slightly and press the
buttontolowertheparkingbrakelever.
