There are no shafts or belts to change or fit with the new cutter bar as it fitted with a
one piece extending drive shaft (1).
Unlike on previous machines, no slip clutch is fitted to the auger (2). We now we have
a rattle type clutch on the drive shaft as the overload protection.
There is no traditional wobble box fitted, we now use a straight through drive (3) driven
from a rear mounted gearbox (4). The gearbox is oil filled and is required to be regularly
serviced as per the maintenance section of the operator’s manual; make sure to observe
the correct procedure for checking/changing the oil.
