Changing thebattery
1. Disconnect thetest leads from themultimeter.
2. Turn thefunction selector to OFF.
3. Undo thetwo screws holding theback
cover on and remove it from themultimeter.
4. Take thebattery out of thebattery
compartment.
5. Insert anew battery (1×9V/6LR61).
Note thepolarity markings on thebottom
of thebattery compartment to ensure
correct insertion.
6. Put thebattery cover back on and tighten
thescrews.
Replacing thefuses
1. Disconnect thetest leads from themultimeter.
2. Turn thefunction selector to OFF.
3. Undo thetwo screws holding theback cover
on and remove it from themultimeter.
4. Replace thefuse/fuses with equivalent
fuses to theone/s you remove.
- 1×10 A, 600 V, F (fast-blow),
6×25 mm
- 1×200mA, 250V, F (fast-blow),
5×20mm
5. Put thebattery cover back on and tighten
thescrews.
