PRESSURE DROP AND PRESSURE HEAD AVAILABLE TO SYSTEM
I A
AVAILABLE PRESSURE HEAD, UNIT WITH HYDRONIC KIT
The pressure head refers to the value available to the system.
The pump installed on the unit, if the “hydronic kit” option is
purchased as an accessory, is a circulator pump with built-in
inverter, including water pressure transducer and micro-
processor to manage the following control modes adjust-
ment:
CONSTANT ΔP: the pressure differential between pump
suction and discharge is kept constant, pump speed
decreases progressively when the terminals close.
VARIABLE ΔP: the pressure differential reduces as flow-
rate decreases, to account for the lower pressure drop along
the piping running to the terminals (recommended for long
sections of piping)
The type of control can be set using the selector on the
pump body. As standard, the type of control is set to CON-
STANT ΔP.
