FRONTDIFFERENTIALLIMITSWITCHREMOVAL
1.Disconnectbatteryandsparkplugwire(s).SeeDisconnectingtheBattery–GasolineVehiclesonpage1-4.
2.Raisethehoodandremovetheaccesspanel.
3.Locatefrontdifferentiallimitswitchaboveacceleratorpedal.
4.Disconnectwireleadsofswitch(1)fromwireharness.
5.Removethenuts(2)andscrews(3)thatsecuretheswitch(1)andremovetheswitch.
FRONTDIFFERENTIALLIMITSWITCHINSTALLATION
1.Installthefrontdifferentiallimitswitch(1)inthereverseorderofremovalandtightenthenuts(2)to4in-lb(0.5
N·m).SeefollowingCAUTION.
CAUTION
•Donotovertightentheretainingnuts.Ifthenutsareovertightened,theswitchcouldbecomedamaged.
2.Movetheacceleratorpedalbackandforthtoensurethattheswitchleverisbeingproperlyactivated.
3.Connectwireleadsofswitchtowireharness.
4.Connectbatteryandsparkplugwire(s).SeeConnectingtheBattery–GasolineVehiclesonpage1-4.

FUSEREMOVAL
