CAUTION
•Donotusedetergentsorcleaningsolventsthatcontainammonia,aromaticsolvents,oralkali
materialsonbodypanelsorseats.
•Donotallowbatteryacidtodriponbodypanels.Batteryacidwillcausepermanentdamage.Wash
spilledbatteryacidfrombodypanelsimmediately.
EachvehicleisequippedwithaTPOfrontbody,apolypropylenerearbodyandapowder-coatedsteelcargobed.Use
amildsoapordetergentwithaspongeorsoftclothfornormalcleaning.Usenon-abrasivewaxproducts.Battery
acid,fertilizers,tars,asphalt,creosote,paint,orchewinggumshouldberemovedimmediatelytopreventpossible
stains.Becausethenishonthefrontbodyisthesameasthenishontoday’sautomobiles,commercialautomotive
cleaningproductsshouldbeused.
Themanufacturerdoesnotrecommendanytypeofpressurewashingorsteamcleaning.Suchaprocesswill
exposeelectricalcomponentstomoisture.Moistureenteringelectricalcomponentscanresultinwaterdamageand
subsequentcomponentfailure.
Theseatsofthevehiclewilllastlongerwithpropercleaning.Topreserveseatappearance,cleanregularlywithmild
soapordetergentappliedwithaspongeorsoftcloth.Useasoftbristlebrushtocleanareasthatareespecially
soiled.Usethefollowingguidelines:
LightSoiling–Asolutionof10%liquidsoapandwarmwaterappliedwithasoft,dampclothisrecommended.A
softbristlebrushmaybeusedifnecessary.Wipeoffanyresiduewithawaterdampenedcloth.
ForDifcultStains–Dampenasoft,whiteclothwithasolutionof10%householdbleach(sodiumhypochlorite)and
90%water.Rubgentlytoremovestain,thenrinsewithawaterdampenedclothtoremovebleachconcentration.
ForMoreDifcultStains–Performpreviousprocedureusingfull-strengthbleach;orallowbleachtopuddleon
affectedareaforapproximately30minutes.Rinsewithawaterdampenedclothtoremoveanyremainingbleach
concentration.
CAUTION
•Topreventdamagetothevehiclewhenremovingdifcultstainsorheavysoiling,removetheseats
fromthevehicleîš¿rst.
