STEP 3 – Configure the Trigger
Triggering the In-Sight camera sends a pulse to the strobe output. The strobe output
generates a 10 mA (minimum) pulse that lasts about two horizontal lines (128
microseconds). During this interval, the camera’s optocoupler switch closes, triggering
the Strobe Controller.
The In-Sight System can be hardware triggered in one of two ways:
Camera
Connect your trigger circuit to pins 1 (Trigger+) and 2 (Trigger-) on the terminal
block on the back of the In-Sight camera (Figure 2-3). Remember to set the Trigger
parameter within the AcquireImage function’s property sheet (located in cell A0) to
Camera (Figure 2-6). Selecting Camera acquires an image upon receiving a pulse
to the camera input located directly on the camera.
