2.2.20 INSERTING A PAUSE IN OUTGOING CALLS
(SPEED DIALS)
You can use Pause Insertion to generate an intentional delay in dialing
on outgoing outside line calls. You can store a pause or a combi-
nation of pauses in the Speed Dial bins to allow timed access to
special services while allowing you to monitor the progress of the
call.
A pause appears as “P” on the display. When storing numbers in
speed dial, use the feature code Func + 7 + 0 to insert a pause.
2.2.21 LOCKING/UNLOCKING YOUR PHONE
Use this feature to prevent anyone from making unauthorized outside
line calls from your extension. This feature code is also used to
program your private, four-digit extension password.
To lock your phone perform the following steps.
1. Press Func + 9 + 7. The display responds as follows.
