Operator’s handbook
2.8 Safety warnings for noise and
vibrations
The noise level shown in the attached sheet is an
average use value, while the level of vibrations to the
hands cannot be determined because it depends on
the workpiece.
The use of parts with different materials and shapes,
the excessive pressure on the abrasive element and
the lack of maintenance signi cantly affect noise and
vibrations.
As a result, take all the required preventive measures
to eliminate possible damage due to loud noise and
stress from vibration; wear earmuffs, anti-vibration
gloves, take breaks during work, keep the machine
and abrasive elements ef cient.
2.9 Residual risk
These warnings identify the main risks of machine
use. Read the machine instructions manual carefully.
Sparks and dust thrown towards the eyes
and body of the operator. Wear protective
glasses, dust mask and heavy duty clothing.
High noise generated by machine. Wear
hearing protection ear muffs.
Moving parts and sharp burrs that can inju-
re hands. Wear protective gloves and keep
a safe distance from the grinding area.
Lethal electric shock hazard. Do not touch
live parts and keep safe distance. Before
every maintenance operation disconnect
the plug from the power socket.
2.10 Special warnings
ATTENTION! Before using the machine, to
perform transportation, commissioning,
start-up, use, shut-down and maintenance
correctly, read and apply the instructions
below, carefully, referring to technical dra-
wings and data. Before starting operation, become
familiar with the controls and correct machine use,
ensuring that you know how to stop it in case of
emergency. Improper use of the machine can cause
serious injuries and damage to property. Always
consider the safety of yourself and others and adjust
your conduct accordingly.
These instructions are an integral part of the machine
and must accompany it in case of repair or re-sale.
Keep the furnished documentation safe and on-hand,
for consultation when required.
These instructions refer to a machine that is manu-
factured in several models and differing con gura-
tions: apply the relative information based on the
model under your ownership.
Any other use, differing from the descriptions in these
instructions, can damage the machine and represent
a serious danger to people and property.
