To obtain intermediate angles with respect to the
xed ones, namely 1° - 22°30’ - 30° - 45°, turn and
position the grooved sector at the requested angle
and lock it in place with security dowel C.
CAUTION! Before running the machine,
make sure there is no obstruction (e.g.
shavings, off-cuts from previous work,
etc.).
6. USE
6.1 Preliminary checks
Before taking the machine out of its cardboard box,
remove all the protections inside paying attention to
their contents.
After removing all protections, lift the box off the
machine.
After removing the box, loosen the screws that se-
cure the machine to the pallet. The machine can now
be carried. To do so, rmly grasp the machine’s base
using both hands so as to balance its weight (this
operation must be performed by 2 operators).
Rest the machine on a at and stable surface and
make sure that the work area is clear of any obstacle.
Cut the string securing the handgrip lever to the an
gle adjusting handle.
To prevent the blade-motor support arm springing
abruptly up due to the action of the spring, grasp the
handgrip and guide the entire blade-motor unit up;
once this has been done, you can lower the blade
support arm by pulling down the handgrip.
CAUTION! To prevent workpieces falling
during operation, make sure that they do
not protrude by more than 50% of their
length on the left side and 35% on the right
side (Fig. 10).
Make sure the blade guard moves correctly
and ensure, with great care, that the blade
spins smoothly and with no obstruction
when turned by hand.
CAUTION! In order to ensure machine
stability during cutting operations, it must
be secured to a stable structure, using the
holes on the base (see §5.1.).
6.2 Cutting
Cuts are performed as follows:
Start the tool by pressing button B (g. 3) of the
switch inside the handgrip.
To turn the tool off, release the button B.
Before lowering the blade onto the workpiece,
wait for it to reach its maximum speed.
Release the arm by pressing button A (g. 3) un-
der the handgrip. Lower the blade support arm
by means of the handgrip and push it forward
smoothly and without stopping.
Pressure exerted on the blade depends on the
type and size of the material to cut and on the
direction in which the blade is advancing.
