Mode d’emploi
- 31 -
During the cut, the workpiece must be kept rm-
ly against the table. If necessary (pieces with
special shapes, small pieces, etc.), you can t a
manual vices.
When cutting particularly long pieces, it is es-
sential to provide the machine with additional
supports that can be supplied upon demand.
After your cut, move the cutting head to its
raised position and wait for the blade guard to
position itself correctly.
CAUTION! Exerting more pressure on the
andgrip during the cut, does not necessari-
ly increase cutting speed. On the contrary,
it may overload the motor and result in less
effective operation (the motor may break
or the blade may be damaged).
7. SAFETY DEVICES
CAUTION! During use, never remove the
safety and accident-prevention devices and
always make sure that they are in perfect
working order.
The saw-motor unit is held in idle position -
namely raised - by a special spring.
In idle position (arm raised), the blade is fully
covered by the lower guard. It is gradually un-
covered as the blade is lowered for cutting.
The machine is tted with a “deadman” start
switch.
The machine is equipped with a blade guard
locking system: if an attempt is made to lower
the arm without pressing the button, the blade
guard does not move and therefore keeps the
blade covered.
The machine features an automatic motor brak-
ing system that stops the blade in 5 ÷ 7 seconds.
The transmission belt of the machine is protected
by a carter (g. 9). It must be left in place during
the operation
