7.7 Keyboard
To remove the keyboard, complete the following procedures.
1. Disconnect the AC power and any external devices (Section 7.4.1).
2. Remove the battery pack (Section 7.4.3).
3. Remove the DualBay device (Section 7.4.4).
4. Remove any PC Cards (Section 7.4.5).
5. Turn the computer bottom side up.
6. Remove the screws near the rear of the computer from the battery and DualBay
compartments and from the bottom of the base 1 . These screws remove the
keyboard.
7. Remove the upper screws 2 from the battery and DualBay compartments. These are
the remaining base enclosure screws.
