3-6. Home - DHCP Server
A DHCP (Dynamic Host Control Protocol) is to assign an IP address to the computers on the LAN/private network.
When you enable the DHCP Server, the DHCP Server will allocate automatically an unused IP address from the IP
address pool to the requesting computer in premise of activating “Obtain an IP Address Automatically”. So
specifying the starting and ending address of the IP Address pool is needed.
DHCP Server : Activate the checkbox to enable DHCP server.
IP Address Start/End : Enter the range of IP address for DHCP server distribution.
Lease Time : The length of the IP address lease.
For example: If the lease time is an hour, then DHCP server will reclaim the IP address in each hour.
