Installing Harness System
1. Insert Buckle’s Metal
Retainer into Slot
Closest to Child
Buckle MUST face out.
You MUST use the 1st or 2nd
buckle slot when child restraint is
used rear facing.
Any slot can be used when
forward facing.
3. Check Buckle
Pull up on buckle to make sure it is
secured.
2. Pull Metal Retainer
Completely Through
Pad and Shell

4. Push Harness Straps’
Metal Retainers into
Hip Harness Slots
Make sure it goes completely
through the pad and shell.
5. Turn Seat Over and
Push Metal Retainers
Down onto Tabs As
Shown
From the front, pull on harness
straps to make sure the retainers
do not pull out.
6. Thread Harness Straps
into Correct Shoulder
Harness Slots For Your
Child
If you will be using the lowest
shoulder harness slots, you
MUST
adjust the harness straps. See
pages 9-12.
