CAUSE
Loss of drive
Engine "backfires"
when turning
engine "OFF"
o Freewheel control in "dis-
_engaged" position. :
o Motion drive belt worn,
damaged or broken.
= Air trapped in transmis:
sion during shipment
or servicing.
Engine throttle control not
set at "SLOW"
position for 30 seconds
before stopping engine.
CORRECTION
° Place freewheel control in
....."engaged'! position.;
o Replace motion drive bell
o Purge transmission.
Move throttle control to
"SLOW" position and allow
to idle for 30 seconds before
stopping engine.
