6-7 Operation
WARNING
POTENTIAL HAZARD
Parking on a hill or other incline.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
The vehicle could roll out of control,
increasing the chance of an accident.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Avoid parking on hills or other inclines. If
you must park on an incline, apply the
parking brake, and block the front and
rear wheels with rocks or other objects.
Never park the vehicle on hills that are
too steep.
WARNING
POTENTIAL HAZARD
Improperly operating in reverse.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
You could hit an obstacle or person
behind you, resulting in serious injury.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
When you shift into reverse, make sure
there are no obstacles or people behind
you. When it is safe to proceed, go
slowly.
