WHAT DO I DO IF: ANSWERS
The appliance smokes the first time I use it? It's normal for the appliance to smoke a little during the first use. Clean with a
damp cloth before turning it on.
The appliance turns itself off? Check that the middle control is not in the “O” position and that the appliance is
plugged in.
It is possible that the appliance has overheated. Unplug the appliance and allow to
cool for at least 15 minutes. Turn it on as usual and start your cooking again.
The food does not cook? Check the plug is firmly in the outlet and that the cooking mode has been
selected.
The barbecued food does not sear, it is
difficult to cook?
Check that the selected temperature or the cooking mode are appropriate for the
food.
I have different kinds of food to be cooked? Use the grill in the flat position (Plancha, barbecue or combined position) and
cook each food on a different plate, this way the flavours of the foods will not
mingle.
A little cooking juice leaked onto the body of
the appliance?
Wait until the appliance has cooled completely then wipe with a hot damp cloth.
Never immerse the base of the appliance in water.
There's a lot of smoke during cooking? Avoid using too much grease when cooking. Fat releases smoke. Use a brush to
grease dry foods.
