Step 1
Locate the vehicle battery on the
driver side in the engine compartment
and disconnect the negative terminal. Fasten
this wire down and away from the battery
during the installation.
Step 3
Remove the dust cover from the harness,
taking care not to damage the locking tabs.
Insert the custom wiring harness end into the
OEM harness. Make sure the connectors are
fully inserted with locking tabs in place.
Step 2
Locate the plastic shroud below the driver-side
rear bumper cover. Remove the three push
fasteners and the two 14mm bolts (bolts are
attached to the shroud).
Install the fuse from the bag kit into the
fuse holder in the custom wiring harness.
Step 4
Locate a flat spot near the factory harness area. Adhere the
black converter box using the provided double-sided tape.
Route the 4-flat along the back of the vehicle to the hitch.
Secure any loose wires with the provided cable ties.
Step 5
Reinstall all items removed during install. If it was disconnected at the
beginning of the installation, reconnect the negative battery terminal.
Install the provided 4-flat dust cover to help prevent corrosion.
14mm nuts on shroud are push nuts, tighten so it does not cause noise
