Using the FreshTrac
®
Timer
Selected models of the Alpha series brewer are equipped with the FreshTrac freshness timer system. The
FreshTrac receiver clips to the side of the handle of an Alpha series glass decanter. When used with Alpha series

For proper operation, the FreshTrac decanter must be placed in the proper orientation before brewing. See
FreshTrac Decanter Placement below.
• The timer is set at the brewer’s universal
control module (UCM). The factory setting is
30 minutes. The adjustment range is from ten
minutes to two hours. See the Programming
Guide section to change the FreshTrac-Glass
settings.
• At the beginning of the brew cycle, the brewer
transmits a signal to the decanter receiver,

• The FreshTrac decanter and receiver are dishwasher safe.
• The expected receiver battery life is two years. The integral receiver battery is not replaceable,
however the receiver itself can be removed from the decanter and replaced. Order Curtis part number
WC-10003.

The most effective timer signal reception
for the FreshTrac receiver is within the
230º range shown in the FreshTrac Handle
Location Diagram. Place the FreshTrac
decanter on the warmer with the handle
as shown for best performance.
