      Amber RowlandAug 8, 2025
If your CyberPower UPS isn't providing the expected runtime, it could be due to a couple of reasons. The batteries might not be fully charged; in this case, recharge the battery by leaving the UPS plugged in. Alternatively, the batteries might be worn out, and you should contact CyberPower Systems about replacement batteries.

How to reset a tripped circuit breaker on a CyberPower M550L?
    • B
      Brittany MooreAug 17, 2025
If the circuit breaker button is projecting from the back of your CyberPower UPS, it means the circuit breaker has tripped due to an overload. To resolve this, turn the UPS off and unplug at least one piece of equipment. Wait 10 seconds, reset the circuit breaker by pressing the button in, and then turn the UPS on.

Why won't my CyberPower UPS turn on?
    • E
      ehernandezOct 28, 2025
There are several reasons why your CyberPower UPS might not be turning on. First, the on/off switch is designed to prevent damage from rapidly turning it off and on, so turn the UPS off, wait 10 seconds, and then turn it on again. Also, ensure the unit is connected to a 120V 50/60Hz outlet. If the problem persists, the batteries may be worn out, requiring replacement by contacting CyberPower Systems. Another reason may be that the USB/serial cable is not connected, or is connected to the wrong port. Connect the USB/serial cable to the UPS unit and an open USB/serial port on the back of the computer, ensuring you use the cable that came with the unit. Check the back of the computer for an additional USB/serial port and move the cable to this port. For mechanical problems, contact CyberPower...
