Defining Arp Spoofing Prevention Settings
Dynamic ARP inspection is a security feature that validates ARP packets in a network. It intercepts, logs, and discards ARP
packets with invalid IP-to-MAC address bindings. This capability protects the network from certain man-in-the-middle
attacks
1. Click Security > Arp Spoofing Prevention. The Arp Spoofing Preventio opens:

The Configure Local Enable Password Page contains the following fields:
Field Description
IP Address
Defines the IP address
MAC address
Defines the MAC address.
Unit
Defines the stacking member’s Unit ID.
Port
Defines the ports.
Port Select All
Select all ports.
2. Enter the IP address in the IP Address field.
3. Enter the MAC address in the MAC Address field.
4. Define the ports which sould be applied ARP Spoofing Prevention rules on them.
5. Click
.
The new ARP Spoofing Prevention definition appears in the ARP Spoofing Prevention List, and the device is updated
