Step 1: Welcome to the D-Link Wireless Security Setup Wizard
In this section, we can configure the following:
Network Name (SSID) 2.4GHz: Enter the wireless network name (SSID), for the
2.4GHz frequency band, here.
Network Name (SSID) 5GHz: Enter the wireless network name (SSID), for the
5GHz frequency band, here.
Automatically assign a network key: Select this option to automatically assign a
wireless network key for each wireless band. The router will automatically
generate a strong wireless key.
Manually assign a network key: Select this option to manually enter a custom
wireless security key.
Click the Next button to continue to the next step.
Click the Cancel button to discard the changes made and return to the main menu.
Step 2: Set Your Wireless Security Password
After selecting to manually assign a network key, the following page will be available.
In this section, we can configure the following:
Use the same…: Tick this option to use the same wireless security password on
both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
2.4GHz Wireless Security Password: Enter the wireless security password for the
2.4GHz band here.
5GHz Wireless Security Password: Enter the wireless security password for the
5GHz band here.
Click the Next button to continue to the next step.
Click the Prev button to return to the previous step.
Click the Cancel button to discard the changes made and return to the main menu.
